1. League Status

🛡️ Independent Tournament

• ITL T20 is a private, independent domestic T20 cricket league.
• The league has no affiliation, approval, or endorsement from BCCI, ICC, or any cricket governing body.

🎯 Purpose & Mission

• To identify, promote, and develop grassroots cricket talent.
• ITL does not replace or represent any national team or official cricket board.

2. Player Eligibility

🧑‍🎓 Who Can Apply

• Open to all domestic and independent cricket players.
• Participation is voluntary and entirely at the player’s

own responsibility.

❗ No False Expectations

ITL does not guarantee
• Selection in BCCI, National, or State teams
• Any official recognition by a cricket board

📄 Rules & Compliance

• Players must not violate any rules of their state association, ICC, BCCI.
• Contracted players must obtain prior permission from their respective authorities.

3. Trials & Selection Rules

⚡ Merit-Based System

• All trials are 100% performance-based and transparent.
• The decision of the selection panel is final and binding.

❌ Zero Tolerance for Misconduct

• Bribery, gifts, influence, or pressure for selection are strictly prohibited.
• Fake documents, age fraud, or misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification.

4. Franchise Rules

🏢 Independent Franchises

• All franchises are independent business entities and are not linked to BCCI or ICC.

📢 Prohibited Claims

Franchises must not use misleading claims such as:
   •   “ICC Approved League”
   •   “BCCI Certified Tournament”
   •   “Official Indian State Team”

🛡️ Player Safety & Fairness

• Franchises must follow basic player welfare, safety, and payment norms.

5. Branding & Communication

📣 Transparent Messaging

• ITL will never present itself as a national or official cricket authority.
• All official communications must include:
“ITL is an independent domestic talent league not associated with BCCI or ICC.”

🎨 Branding Guidelines

• Logos, jerseys, and creatives must not resemble any government or cricket board identity.

6. Tournament Rules

🏏 Match Guidelines

• Matches are conducted under ITL’s own playing rules.
• Rules are inspired by ICC T20 formats but are not official ICC rules.

🧑‍⚖️ Umpiring & Discipline

• Umpiring, scoring, and player conduct follow the ITL Code of Conduct.

📅 Scheduling

• ITL will make best efforts to avoid clashes with major national cricket events.

7. Legal & Safety

⚠️ Risk & Participation

• All players, staff, and franchises participate at their own risk.

📄 Liability

• Injury or accident claims are limited to ITL’s insurance coverage only.

🚑 On-Ground Facilities

The following will be provided at all events:
   •   Ambulance
   •   First-Aid
   •   Basic Insurance
   •   Safe playing conditions

8. Media & Broadcast Rights

🎥 ITL Ownership

• All match videos, photos, and footage are the exclusive property of ITL.

📸 Player Consent

• Players agree that their images and videos may be used for promotional purposes.

🚫 Unauthorized Streaming

• Unauthorized recording, streaming, or uploads will lead to strict legal action.

9. Code of Conduct

🤝 Mandatory Behaviour Standards

All players, franchises, and staff must maintain:
   •   Respect & Discipline
   •   Anti-Ragging Policy
   •   Anti-Abuse & Anti-Harassment Policy

🚭 Zero Tolerance

• Alcohol, smoking, or substance use during matches or events is strictly prohibited.

10. Disclaimers

• Selection in BCCI or National Teams
• State-level recognition

• The league exists solely for talent exposure and entertainment.
